Them days you sent a youngster up the road to say there was a game on. Now you send the code, and if a chair's still empty when you deal, one of the regulars takes it.

Got a place worth the drive?
Down the road
Well, Sunday after Mass we'd walk it. Start at the gate and go down, and every house along here I'll tell you who's in it.
Fortune-Saint-Pierre Ferry
A ninety-minute ferry from Fortune, Newfoundland to France.
A scheduled ferry connects Fortune on Newfoundland's Burin Peninsula with the town of Saint-Pierre on Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, a crossing of about an hour and a half. The service is the everyday link between the province and the French archipelago; passengers require a passport (France) and euros on the far side, and reservations are strongly advised in summer.
