rocky-harbour · The Viking Trail
A 19th-century light that still watches over Rocky Harbour.
Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse, built in 1897 at the entrance to Rocky Harbour in Gros Morne National Park, is a Recognized Federal Heritage Building. It guided fishing vessels along the west coast for a century, and today Parks Canada interprets the lightkeeper's dwelling and the life of the coastal communities the light served.
